Role Summary
We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-driven Intermediate QA Engineer to join our Quality
Assurance team. This role is suited to a quality-focused professional who takes ownership of product
reliability and actively contributes to improving test strategy and delivery standards.
You will play a critical role in ensuring our web and mobile applications are stable, scalable, and

ability to work confidently within Agile delivery teams.
This is not a “test case executor” role — we are looking for someone who thinks critically, challenges
assumptions, and proactively improves quality.

â Analyse business and functional requirements and identify testable conditions.
â Design comprehensive, risk-based test scenarios and test cases.
â Contribute to sprint-level and release-level test planning.
â Identify gaps, ambiguities, and risks early in the development lifecycle.
Required Experience & Skills
â 4–6 years of hands-on experience in software testing (manual focus).
â Strong test case design skills (boundary value analysis, equivalence partitioning, negative testing,
etc.).
â Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies.
â Experience working with Jira (or similar defect management tools).
â Experience using test management tools (TestRail, Zephyr, or similar).
â Experience testing APIs (Postman or equivalent).
â Working knowledge of SQL for data validation.
â Strong analytical and root cause analysis skills.
â Ability to independently manage workload and priorities.
â Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
â High attention to detail and structured documentation skills.
Test Execution & Validation
â Execute functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing across web and mobile
platforms.
â Validate API integrations using tools such as Postman.
â Perform database validations using SQL where required.
â Ensure cross-browser and cross-device compatibility.

Defect Management
â Log clear, reproducible, high-quality defects in Jira.
â Perform impact analysis and assist in root cause discussions.
â Track defects through to resolution and retest effectively.
Agile Collaboration
â Actively participate in sprint ceremonies (planning, refinement, stand-ups, retros).
â Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and stakeholders.
â Provide input on acceptance criteria and the Definition of Done.
