CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
Hit the ground running by coaching and steering a crew of field-based sales agents across key regions, keeping everyone firing on all cylinders.
Set sharp performance targets for sales volume, market expansion, and snagging new customers – then track them like a hawk
Jump into the field for visits, team huddles, and one-on-one chats to keep the momentum roaring
Scrutinise weekly and monthly sales reports, green-lighting them only when they shine with strategy
Spot fresh business leads, priority accounts, and regional hotspots to supercharge the team’s efforts
Lock in rock-solid branding, pricing, and messaging right across the sales frontline
Take the reins on marketing firepower, rolling out strategies that sync perfectly with big-picture goals in this competitive feed world.
Shape product branding, packaging, and materials that grab attention and build loyalty
Launch campaigns and product rollouts that give sales agents the edge they need
Handle big-ticket customer chats, sort escalated issues, and wow crowds with presentations at events
Forge powerhouse partnerships with industry heavyweights and influencers
Team up with technical, operations, and procurement crews to nail supply chains, forecasting, and demand
Sharpen the edge with training, data dives, and smart budgeting.
Run sessions packing sales agents and customers with the latest on products, nutrition, and sales tricks

REQUIREMENTS
Bring your A-game with a BSc (Agric) in Animal Science or equivalent, plus real-deal know-how in animal nutrition and the feed game.
At least 5 years leading marketing or sales in agriculture or animal feeds – bonus if you’ve built sales squads before
MS Office whiz, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
Chat fluently in Afrikaans and English – you’ll be connecting with farmers and teams daily
You’ve got the leadership chops to rally a team, the comms skills to present with punch, analytical smarts for data-driven wins, and that knack for nurturing customer bonds in the livestock world. Negotiation, conflict fixes, and strategic sway? Right up your alley.
