CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

You’ll lead the charge on cost control, working hand-in-hand with production and finance to make sure every penny counts.

Maintain and update product costing, standard costs, and Bills of Materials (BOMs) for pinpoint accuracy

Dive into manufacturing variances – materials, labour, overheads – spotting trends and efficiencies like a pro

Monitor production costs, inventory levels, and stock processes, delivering clear reports that highlight wins and fixes

Supervise a small team handling costing and stock tasks, guiding them to deliver top-notch results

Crunch numbers for pricing strategies and business decisions, helping shape profitable moves

Ensure ERP systems (think SAGE Evolution or Jobsys) hum with reliable cost data, ready for audits and forecasts

REQUIREMENTS

Bring your manufacturing know-how and a knack for numbers that never miss a beat.

Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or similar (CIMA a real plus)

3+ years in cost accounting within manufacturing, with hands-on BOMs, variance analysis, and inventory valuation

Solid ERP experience, plus advanced Excel wizardry to handle complex data

Bonus points for production process savvy and leading a small team
