Purpose To facilitate, monitor and ensure that the organisation is conducting its business in full compliance with all legislation and regulations. Oversee the risk management framework that provides operational protection of organisational systems and services through the provision of control, management, and delivery of the ongoing governance requirements.

Skills Required · Degree in Law/LLB, or a related field (post-graduate education with a focus on compliance and risk management is preferred) · Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior compliance management role.
Roles & Responsibilities
· Execute the implementation of people & culture strategies and initiatives that align with BlackMagic business strategy. · Assist with the development and implementation of a strong leadership culture throughout all levels of Business Unit. · Act as a change champion to develop a positive culture and effective implementation of initiatives. · Develop, oversee and drive the implementation of the Group’s legal framework. · Regular internal auditing to ensure framework is being utilized correctly. · Provide coaching sessions developed and implemented to upskill key management in legal matters · Ensure all entities are protected from commercial and legal risks · Research all relevant legislative requirements applicable to the group and its operations and ensuring company compliance to all laws and regulations that apply to the business. · Design, implement and maintain an organization legal risk register · Review and update all standard group contract templates in line with industry best practices and BlackMagic requirements – including document controlling. · Develop onboarding checklists for all types of sub-contractor in collaboration with other GSS management and ensure standardization across divisions. · Oversee the onboarding and approval of all new sub-contractors (including provision of contractor packs) with a focus on ABC policy · Develop and implement customer compliance metrics (commercial, production, SHEQ, etc) · Compilation of data and analytics to provide comprehensive reporting on all department deliverables, monthly to EXCO, indicating month-on-month improvement
