Profitability & Finance

• Identify production efficiency and cost improvement initiatives

• Prepare and provide regular project progress reports, financial status updates, forecasts and compliance documentation to internal and external stakeholders

• Manage project budgets, track expenses, and work to optimize project costs while maintaining a focus on quality and safety

 

Reporting

• Monthly progress reports

• Monthly project forecast reports

• Delay reports (inclusive of cost)

• Compensation events summary and status report

• Project schedule (MS Project)

• Monthly finance reports (forecast, cost report, etc)

 

Management

• Stock & Asset management

• Coordinating multiple projects

• Manage contract and contractual claims

• Client interface and customer relationship management

• Identify and manage risks associated with construction activities and develop strategies to mitigate these risks, minimizing disruptions and delays.

 

Business Development

• Provide input on tender preparation and estimating

• Sourcing of organic project or sales leads within the client base operating in

 

SHERQ

• Ensure required SHERQ systems are in place on all projects (H&S file, QCP and related control docs, etc)

• Ensure compliance with Health and Safety regulations on site

• Ensure stringent safety protocols

Minimum Qualifications

• Matric

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, construction management, or a related field

• Relevant regulatory body registration

• Must be computer literate

• Legal Liability, HIRA, Microsoft Projects, PMP certificates

 

Experience

• 10 years Engineering and Production experience

• 6 years Management experience as a Team/Project Leader/Supervisor
