Job Details

Purpose: To manage and take ownership of the Cape Town branch rentals administration, financial processes and stock control.

Key Responsibilities
• Ensure all subordinates have the skills and knowledge to carry out their functions efficiently and effectively.
• Ensure positive contributions to the department’s performance by setting objectives, coaching, counselling and performance management.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Complete and submit all daily, weekly and monthly reports accurately and timeously.
• Maintain and update rentals fleet descriptions and grading details on the ERP system.
• Ensure all customer documents, lease agreements and payments are in place prior to dispatching units.
• Manage billing process including pre-billing, escalations, credit notes and off-hire notices.
• Ensure that all units are billed as per relevant lease agreement.
• Maintain units-not-billing report.
• Ensure timeous resolution of queries – internal, clients/debtors and suppliers.
• Facilitate preparation and submission of insurance claims.
• Ensure stock counts are accurately and timeously completed and maintained on the ERP system.
• Process delivery and return documentation within agreed time frame.
• Ensure that the transport and siting accounts are maintained and reconciled monthly.
• Process purchase orders and ensure that transport and siting rates are correct.
• Ensure compliance with our company/client SHEQ code of conduct and all statutory regulations.
• Ensure good housekeeping standards are always maintained.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:
• Matric (Grade 12)
• Diploma/Degree in Stock Control/ Logistics/ Admin

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
• Minimum 3 to 5 years relevant experience.
