THE ORGANISATION

Micasa Property Investments PTY (LTD) was established in 2012 in the Western Cape and operates as Micasa Energy Solutions (MES). Serving as an Integrated Turnkey Solutions Provider for Industrial, Commercial, Agricultural, and Residential Applications, MES offers solutions including Solar PV, Battery Back-up, and Efficient Water Heating; which combines planning, management, efficiency, generation, storage & operations, and maintenance.

Our dedicated team, comprising of Programmers, Engineers, Energy Analysts, Project Managers, Administrators, Technicians, and other skilled members, provides value-added Turnkey Solutions. Our services and products encompass, but are not limited to: needs analysis, financial feasibility studies and reports, project and design specifications, final designs, project conceptual and final design costings, selling (cash, financed, and PPA deals), procurement, executions of projects, project management, quality assurance, regulative certification, commissioning of solutions and support (Operating and Maintenance) of all systems (online and off-line).

The cornerstones of MES are quality and support. We have assisted residential, commercial, and agricultural clients to go partly or fully off-grid.

To date, MES has facilitated an estimate of:

  • > 15 mWp of alternative energy
  • > 12 mWh storage (combination of C-I&A and residential)
  • > 1 mW Heat pump solutions
  • > 3 500 clients / Systems

THE ROLE

We are seeking an Administrator & Coordinator who will assist Management with various administrative tasks, data capturing, tracking, and coordination across departments. The AC will report to a line manager but will be a resource to multiple teams across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in business administration and coordination and will need to be able to work independently as well as in a team environment.

The candidate will work within an environment of a diverse portfolio of projects and jobs. Within this dynamic role, the candidate will collaborate within an ecosystem comprising various members of the senior management team, including Engineering, Business Development, Finance, Administration, Support, Legal, HR, Procurement, Stock Control, Marketing, and more.

This collaborative approach ensures that the candidate is an integral part of a multifaceted team, fostering effective communication and coordination across all aspects of MES operations. The candidate will have a direct impact on the success of the organisation by assisting the senior management team.

IN THE ROLE OF ADMINISTRATOR & COORDINATOR:

The candidate will be responsible for, but not limited to, the duties listed below;

  • Coordinating with clients, suppliers and service providers (phone calls, WhatsApp, emails etc.)
  • Assisting with various tasks in Procurement
  • Assisting with various tasks in Operations
  • Assisting with coordinating and tracking in Engineering
  • Assisting with various tasks and coordinating in Support
  • Financial administrative tasks
  • Coordination of Courier collections and deliveries
  • Stock control (in and out of Warehouse)
  • Stationery/ office orders/ clothing orders
  • Reception duties, filing, documenting, etc.
  • Capturing data and reporting in terms of project deliverables and more
  • Tracking and reporting of performance of projects and team members.
  • Ensure continuing professional development.

EXPECTED:

  • Gr.12
  • Demonstrable administrative and coordination experience
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to work in a team as well as independently
  • Strong communication skills (both written and verbal) • Strong communication and report writing skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc) and general software
  • Driving licence
  • Own reliable transport to MES’s headquarters
  • Candidate with sober habits
  • Preferable ability to speak Afrikaans

DESIRABLE:

  • Educated to diploma level in administration and or coordination complementary subject to working in due diligence.
  • Police clearance
  • Attention to detail problem solving.
