Ready to make a real impact in the waste management sector? This role puts you at the heart of building lasting client relationships and driving growth across the Gauteng region. You’ll be the go-to person ensuring our clients get exactly what they need from our services, while spotting opportunities to strengthen partnerships and expand what we can offer them.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Orchestrate seamless client onboarding by coordinating handovers with sales, clarifying client needs with operations and accounts teams, and executing service-level agreements through to completion
- Conduct regular client site visits and interactions (monthly/quarterly) to understand their evolving needs, track how well we’re delivering against their goals, and catch any issues before they become problems
- Manage the full renewal cycle—flagging at-risk accounts early, negotiating annual increases, and ensuring contracts stay current and properly documented in our systems
- Drive revenue growth through thoughtful upselling and cross-selling, reviewing proposals alongside sales, and tracking profitability across client sites
- Monitor and improve client satisfaction through NPS measurement and reporting, keeping our finger on the pulse of how clients truly feel about working with us
- Maintain up-to-date account plans and SLAs in Hubspot, coordinate contract updates with legal and operations teams, and ensure all changes are properly recorded
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Proven track record managing client relationships and driving account growth
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to juggle multiple clients and deadlines
- Excellent communication and negotiation abilities—you can talk to clients, sales teams, and operations equally well
- Comfortable with CRM systems (Hubspot experience a bonus) and comfortable tracking metrics that matter
- Proactive problem-solving mindset with the ability to escalate thoughtfully and follow through to resolution
- A genuine interest in understanding client needs and delivering real value
