This Data Analyst role steps right into that world, turning complex affiliate performance data into clear, confident decisions that keep premiums, claims, and commissions tightly under control.

CORE PURPOSE

This role supports a Strategic Affiliates Operations team within a fast-moving insurance environment, analysing how different affiliates perform and spotting where risks and opportunities are hiding in the data.

Translate raw affiliate data into meaningful insights that support portfolio resilience and profitability

Keep a close eye on premiums, claims and commissions to ensure performance stays aligned with key targets

Help senior stakeholders see the bigger picture through structured, insightful reporting

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Gather, clean and validate affiliate data from multiple sources, including internal systems, SSRS reports and integration feeds

Monitor KPIs such as claims ratios, margins and premium growth, calling out variances against agreed targets

Support the creation of reports, dashboards and executive summaries for product forums and board-level reviews

Analyse trends in claims, commissions and operational adherence to support risk mitigation strategies

Maintain strong data governance standards, ensuring accuracy, consistency and regulatory compliance

Share data-driven insights with operations managers and affiliate partners to support collaborative decision-making

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Economics or a related field, or equivalent practical experience

3–5 years’ experience in an analytical role, ideally with exposure to insurance or financial services

Solid proficiency in Excel, SQL and Python, plus exposure to BI tools such as Power BI and SSRS

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a sharp eye for detail

Confident in presenting findings using tables, charts and structured executive summaries
