JOB TITLE: Dispatch Foreman

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Purpose: Manage the dispatch activities of the mobiles in the yard through the effective utilization of sub-ordinates to achieve dispatch targets and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
•Receiving and Dispatching stock.
• Manage and control all aspects of cleaning, sealing, preparation for loading and dispatch as soon as units exit factories.
• Stock management control including checking stock levels and report timeously.
• Conduct weekly inventory of finished goods and lose components in yard.
• Conduct stock takes (including cycle counts) and keep proper records.
• Manage quality control of units and ensure snags are completed as identified.
• Manage and lead subordinates.
• Reduce waste on materials, parts and efficiency.
• Ensure that housekeeping standards are always maintained.
• Control access to yard and offices.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATION:
• Matric
• Operations/logistics or related diploma

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
• 2 – 5 years in similar position in construction or manufacturing environment
• Experience in dispatch and transport (advantage)
