ERP Solutions Consultant

CORE FOCUS CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

• Implement and configure ERP and business software solutions for new and existing customers
• Run requirements workshops and map out customer business processes end to end
• Configure, test, and refine solutions to match customer needs and best practices
• Deliver practical user training, handover sessions, and ongoing user support
• Troubleshoot and resolve software and configuration issues, escalating where needed
• Work closely with developers on customisations, enhancements, and integrations
• Prepare project documentation, configuration notes, and training material
• Manage project tasks, timelines, and customer communication across multiple projects
• Handle data imports, validations, and reconciliations during implementations
• Perform functional testing and quality assurance on delivered solutions
• Support go-live cutovers and provide post-implementation support and stabilisation
• Build strong, long-term customer relationships and act as a trusted advisor
• Assist with product demos and pre-sales sessions when needed

TECH STACK & SOLUTIONS

• Expect hands-on work with:
• Sage 200 Evolution or similar mid-market ERP platforms
• Web-based ERP extensions and online portals
• AI and OCR-driven finance automation tools
• Procurement and workflow automation solutions
• Reporting, dashboards, and BI solutions
• Production and inventory management tools
• Fixed asset and document management solutions
• Customer portals, automation tools, and custom integrations

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• BCom in Business, Accounting, Information Systems, Finance, or similar preferred
• Experience in ERP or business software consulting, implementation, or support
• Background with Sage 200 Evolution or similar ERP highly advantageous
• Solid understanding of accounting and core business processes
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Confident communicator with excellent customer engagement skills
• Able to manage multiple projects and priorities in a consulting environment
• Strong organisational and admin skills, with attention to detail
• Comfortable working both independently and within a team setup
• Experience delivering customer training or workshops
• Good grasp of Microsoft SQL Server and databases is a plus
• Exposure to reporting or BI tools is beneficial
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel when required

ADVANTAGEOUS EXPERIENCE

• Direct Sage 200 Evolution consulting or support background
• Hands-on ERP implementation and project delivery experience
• Knowledge of financial, procurement, inventory, production, or fixed asset processes
• Exposure to AI, workflow automation, OCR, or advanced reporting solutions
• SQL scripting or database troubleshooting experience
• Experience with integrations, APIs, and third-party systems
• Business process analysis and optimisation work across multiple industries
