Job Title: Personal/Executive Assistant

 

Start Date: As soon as possible

Salary range: R18,000 – R22,000 experience dependent.

Other Benefits: Performance based annual bonus & Company retirement contribution.

Travel Reimbursement: Yes – claimed monthly.

Place of work: Darrenwood, Johannesburg & Remote (Hybrid)

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8am to 5pm (Flexible)

Driver’s license: Yes – Essential

Own transport: Yes – Essential

Own smart phone: Yes – Essential

Education: Minimum matric, beneficial to have an undergrad degree.

Experience: Minimum of 6 years in business environment and 3 years in similar role.

Description:

 

We are seeking a competent and proactive Personal/Executive Assistant to ensure seamless daily operations. As a key support figure, you’ll provide administrative, organizational, and logistical assistance, working closely with the COO.

 

This role is ideal for someone experienced in PA/EA duties, capable of managing executive schedules and communications efficiently. The ideal candidate should be quick thinking and possess initiative, confidence, and energy. Strong computer skills are essential, along with excellent communication abilities.

 

You’ll thrive in high-pressure environments, exceeding expectations with precision and organizational proficiency, meeting the standards set by our COO. It would be highly advantageous to have an strong interest in technology and software development. 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Manage schedules, calendars, and appointments to optimize time.
  • Coordinate meetings, conferences, and travel arrangements.
  • Prepare meeting materials and agendas.
  • Handle correspondence, emails, and calls professionally.
  • Prepare documents, reports, and presentations.
  • Conduct research and organize information.
  • Maintain confidentiality with discretion and integrity.
  • Assist with personal tasks and errands.
  • Act as a liaison between the executive and stakeholders.
  • Prioritize and manage multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Provide general administrative support.
  • Anticipate needs and proactively address issues.
  • Handle expense reports promptly and accurately.
  • Organize company events aligned with objectives.
  • Draft and manage important documents.
  • Provide strategic support through research and reports.

Requirements:

 

  • Proven experience as a Personal/Executive Assistant.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • High proficiency in MS Office and relevant software.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
  • Discretion and confidentiality.
  • Flexibility and adaptability.
  • Background in business analysis or technical environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Previous experience as EA to Executives (3+ years).
  • Advanced administrative skills.
  • Problem-solving abilities.
  • Technical proficiency.
  • Ability to work with strong personalities.
