Job Details

We are seeking a Finance Manager to support our finance team by delivering high-quality reporting and analysis and driving operational excellence. The ideal candidate is detail-driven, technically strong, and comfortable working in a modern, systems-driven finance environment.

Location: The Willows / Wilgers, Pretoria

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Maintain and reconcile financial records, ledgers, and accounts.
  • Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and cashâflow management.
  • Process invoices, payments, bank entries, and expense claims accurately.
  • Prepare for audits and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
  • Conduct internal control reviews and recommend process improvements.
  • Analyse financial data and provide insights for decision-making.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to enhance financial procedures.
  • Provide guidance to junior finance staff when required.
  • (Advantageous) Support and configure Sage Intacct processes, including cashbook imports, reconciliations, creditor processing, and system optimisation.

 

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • BCom Accounting / Finance or related degree.
  • Completed SAIPA or SAICA articles (essential).
  • 3–5 years’ experience in a financial or accounting role (Healthcare/Financial industry advantageous).
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, tax, and audit processes.
  • Advanced analytical skills with the ability to present clear financial insights.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
  • Experience with accounting software such as Sage Intacct (highly advantageous), Xero, or Pastel
  • High attention to detail and strong numerical accuracy.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and timeâmanagement abilities.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Valid driver’s licence and reliable transport.

 

ADDITIONAL ADVANTAGES

  • Immediate availability will be a strong advantage. Successful candidate to start 1 March 2026.
  • Sage Intacct implementation or configuration experience.
  • Exposure to cloud-based financial systems and process automation.
