Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled Oracle HCM Functional Consultant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Oracle HCM Cloud modules and a strong understanding of HR business processes. You will play a key role in analyzing business requirements, configuring Oracle HCM applications, and providing end-to-end functional support across various HR modules.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather business requirements and translate them into Oracle HCM functional configurations.
- Configure and support various Oracle HCM Cloud modules such as Core HR, Absence Management, Payroll, Talent Management, Performance Management, and Recruiting.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and technical teams to deliver solutions that meet business needs.
- Participate in the full lifecycle of Oracle HCM implementations and upgrades, including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, training, and support.
- Provide expertise in Oracle quarterly releases and new features, ensuring smooth adoption and minimal disruption.
- Prepare functional documentation, configuration guides, test scripts, and user training materials.
- Troubleshoot functional issues, recommend improvements, and ensure data integrity across HCM modules.
- Ensure compliance with local legal and regulatory HR requirements.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience as an Oracle HCM Functional Consultant or in a similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle HCM Cloud applications.
- Experience in implementation, support, or upgrade projects.
- Solid understanding of HR processes and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Oracle HCM Cloud certification(s) preferred.
Preferred:
- Exposure to South African HR compliance or regional HR legislation (if applicable).
- Experience working in multi-country or multi-entity Oracle HCM environments.
