A digital bank with a strong entrepreneurial identity and a high-performance culture is looking for a HR Business Partner to serve as a strategic partner to the business, aligning HR initiatives with organisational goals to drive performance, engagement, and talent development. This role is pivotal in fostering a positive work culture and ensuring compliance with HR policies and regulations.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES, NOT LIMITED TO:
- Partner with senior leadership to understand business objectives and develop HR strategies aligned with organisational goals
- Provide guidance and support to business leaders on HR policies, procedures, and best practices
- Lead talent management initiatives, including workforce planning, recruitment, performance management, and succession planning
- Drive employee engagement activities and culture-building efforts to enhance the employee experience
- Coach and advise managers on employee relations matters, performance improvement plans, and conflict resolution
- Ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations, handling employee relations issues in accordance with company policies
- Analyse HR metrics and data to identify trends and make recommendations for continuous improvement
- Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and programs to support business objectives
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a strategic HR role
- Experience in the banking or financial services industry is advantageous
- Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills
- Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision-making
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) is a plus
