A digital bank with a strong entrepreneurial identity and a high-performance culture is looking for a HR Business Partner to serve as a strategic partner to the business, aligning HR initiatives with organisational goals to drive performance, engagement, and talent development. This role is pivotal in fostering a positive work culture and ensuring compliance with HR policies and regulations. 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES, NOT LIMITED TO: 

  • Partner with senior leadership to understand business objectives and develop HR strategies aligned with organisational goals 
  • Provide guidance and support to business leaders on HR policies, procedures, and best practices 
  • Lead talent management initiatives, including workforce planning, recruitment, performance management, and succession planning 
  • Drive employee engagement activities and culture-building efforts to enhance the employee experience 
  • Coach and advise managers on employee relations matters, performance improvement plans, and conflict resolution 
  • Ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations, handling employee relations issues in accordance with company policies 
  • Analyse HR metrics and data to identify trends and make recommendations for continuous improvement 
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR policies, procedures, and programs to support business objectives 

REQUIREMENTS                 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field 
  • 5+ years of progressive HR experience, with at least 2 years in a strategic HR role 
  • Experience in the banking or financial services industry is advantageous 
  • Strong knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations 
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills 
  • Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels 
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive decision-making 
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment 
  • HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) is a plus
