Junior Designer

Purpose 

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior Designer to join our design team. This entry-level role is perfect for someone passionate about visual storytelling, eager to develop their skills, and excited to work on a variety of design projects. The ideal candidate will demonstrate proficiency in key Adobe Creative Cloud applications and exhibit a collaborative mindset.

This is a hands-on role that requires strategic thinking, analytical acumen, and a passion for data-driven marketing in a B2B software-as-a-service (SaaS) environment.

 Assist in the creation of graphics and layouts for digital and print materials, including social media, presentations, advertisements, and branding assets.

 Support senior designers with project tasks and follow established design guidelines.

 Edit and retouch images as needed for marketing and sales collateral.

 Contribute creative ideas during team brainstorming sessions.

 Prepare final art files for production, ensuring all deliverables are high-quality and on-brand.

 Participate in design reviews and respond to feedback constructively

Required Skills and Experience:

Technical Skills

 Proficient in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator for image editing, illustration, and vector design.

 Working knowledge of Adobe InDesign for layouts and print design.

 Familiarity with basic animation or video tools (e.g., Adobe After Effects or Adobe Premiere Pro) is a plus.

 Understanding of typography, colour theory, and composition.

 Comfortable preparing files for web and print

 Comfortable with PowerPoint design

 Canva design

 Portfolio showcasing your design work, especially using Adobe tools

 Excellent attention to detail and strong organizational skills

 Effective verbal and written communication skills

 Ability to work under deadlines and manage time efficiently

 Willingness to learn new tools and design techniques

Qualifications

Degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
