Job Details

Exports and Imports :

  • Ensure all export and import activities and procedures are adhered to, including our operations in Mozambique.

 

Inventory Management  and Assembly:

  • Assist logistics manager and PLM’s with forecast demands by trend analysis.
  • Periodic stock counts
  • Ensure proper document control
  • Ensure good communication with all Distribution Centers
  • Review invoices, work orders, consumption reports and demand forecasts to estimate peak delivery periods and issue work assignments
  • To expedite orders with suppliers.
  • To open codes or action any changes on codes as per the code where necessary per the Logistics manager
  • To ensure that the system has current and relevant information example, current suppliers,
  • To action cancellation supplier requests from the sales team or management
  •  To review supplier back orders and expedite where necessary
  • Coordinate and track movements of goods through logistic pathyways
  • Create job cards for hard hats
  • Supervise daily liner and hard hat functions
  • Assist where necessary in hard hat assembly line

Warranty Process:

  • Submit and update One Drive with all warranty documentation received
  • Work with supplier warranty coordinator on approved warranties for factory placement
  • Expedite where necessary
  • Ensure proper document control
  • Update on Techfix, to ensure work is recorded on stock received from supplier

 

Optimization of the Logistics Process:

  • Institute best in class Logistics practices to ultimately improve Customer Satisfaction through delivery requirements.
  • Reliable distribution geared to meet customer requirements
  • Schedule and monitor air or surface pickup, delivery or distribution of products and materials.
  • Inspect physical conditions of warehouses, vehicle fleets and equipment, and order testing, maintenance, repair or replacement as necessary
  • Ensure efficient usage of assets and that they are adequately insured
