Purpose
To grow, plan, coordinate, and control a designated subfleet of vehicles and drivers to ensure safe, compliant, efficient, and cost effective transport operations in line with operational structure, client service requirements, and management system standards.

Duties · Ensure Onboarding Process has been Completed fully with all Requirements · Commercial, SHEQ, HR, Maintenance · Allocate and dispatch loads for an assigned subfleet · Monitor live operations and manage delays, deviations, and route challenges · Ensure optimal vehicle utilisation and turnaround times · Execute loads according to client SLAs and internal planning standards · Issue daily work instructions and route guidance to Subcontractors · Monitor driver behaviour, fatigue compliance, and adherence to company SOPs · Address operational issues and escalate matters where required by Control Room · Monitor vehicle availability, condition, and readiness · Coordinate breakdowns, recoveries, and planned maintenance · Ensure pre trip and post trip inspections are completed and recorded · Ensure adherence to road traffic legislation, OHS Act, and ZEN FREIGHT/CLIENT safety rules · Identify hazards, report incidents, and support investigations · Enforce compliance with safe working procedures · Onboarding of Subcontractor(Commercial Documentation) · Ensure accurate and complete transport documentation (PODs, trip sheets(BROKING), load confirmations) · Capture operational data into ELOGIC / fleet systems · Submit daily and weekly operational reports · Maintain professional communication with internal departments(OPS MANAGER & SUBCONTRACTOR)

Skills Required · Grade 12 (Matric) · 2–5 years’ experience in logistics, fleet, or transport control · Logistics / Transport qualification (Advantageous) · Experience with ELOGIC, FUELU2 System or fleet management systems (Advantageous)
Competencies Technical · Focus Driven on Onboarding New Subcontractors · Load planning and route coordination · Knowledge of transport legislation and OHS requirements · Computer literacy (Excel, email, fleet systems, Fuel System)
