A busy medical practice in Pretoria is looking for a vibrant, motivated and customer-focused Sales Consultant to join our dynamic, multi-functional team.

The successful candidate will report directly to Head Office and will be responsible for assisting patients with their sleep equipment requirements, generating sales, supporting the sales team, and ensuring that company processes and procedures are consistently followed.

Job Purpose

To generate sales according to target through the supply and fitment of sleep equipment to patients presenting at the branch, while providing excellent patient service and maintaining accurate administrative processes.

Key Responsibilities

Internal Sales

• Consult with patients for first-time appointments, follow-up appointments and walk-in enquiries.
• Identify and understand patient needs and recommend appropriate products and solutions.
• Generate sales in accordance with set targets.
• Assist patients with the selection, supply and fitment of sleep equipment.
• Provide professional and friendly customer service throughout the patient journey.
• Follow all company sales processes and procedures.

Administration

• Schedule first appointments with patients.
• Assist with scheduling and coordinating follow-up appointments.
• Maintain accurate patient and sales records.
• Ensure all required documentation is completed accurately and timeously.
• Assist the sales team with general administrative functions.
• Ensure company procedures and processes are consistently followed.

Minimum Requirements

• Grade 12 / Matric pass – essential.
• 2–3 years’ administrative experience in a sales or customer service environment.
• Experience in the medical device or healthcare industry will be advantageous.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Fluency in English and Afrikaans.
• Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport.

• Theory tests and practical assessments.
• Periodic competency assessments.
• Ongoing performance evaluations.
