High-speed lines, complex packaging machinery, and a fast-moving FMCG environment – this Millwright role puts you right at the heart of keeping production running smoothly and safely. Expect a hands-on, technical role where no two shifts look the same and your problem-solving skills genuinely matter.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

Keep critical plant equipment in top shape with a strong mix of mechanical and electrical work in a high-speed beverage / FMCG environment.

Perform fault finding and troubleshooting on high-speed packaging and processing machinery

Carry out planned and reactive mechanical and electrical maintenance and repairs

Handle installation and commissioning of production machinery and auxiliary equipment

Respond quickly to breakdowns to minimise downtime and keep production targets on track

Identify recurring faults and suggest practical technical improvements

Work across conveyors, fillers, labellers, packers, and other high-speed lines

Complete job cards, maintenance records, and basic reports accurately and on time

Collaborate closely with production teams to prioritise work and ensure safe operation of equipment

WORKING HOURS & REMUNERATION

Shift work on a rotating basis (morning / afternoon / night shifts)

Overtime as required, with overtime payable

Shift allowance payable for applicable shifts

Basic salary dependent on qualifications and experience

REQUIREMENTS

A solid technical foundation and experience in a fast-moving production setting will help you hit the ground running.

Matric / Grade 12

Trade Tested Millwright

3–4 years maintenance experience in a beverage production plant – highly advantageous

Experience in a high-speed packaging and/or food processing environment

Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills on automated equipment

Comfortable working shifts, overtime, and in a high-pressure production setting

Good communication skills and a methodical, safety-conscious approach to work
