Senior Project Manager – Payroll Transformation (SAP ECC Payroll & SuccessFactors)

We are seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of a complex Payroll Transformation Project. This is a critical role requiring strong leadership, stakeholder management, and extensive experience managing enterprise-wide payroll implementations within global and matrixed environments.

The successful candidate will be responsible for driving project delivery, managing external implementation partners, and ensuring successful execution across multiple stakeholders while maintaining governance, quality, timelines, and budget requirements.

This position is available immediately and on contract basis.

Key Requirements
Essential Experience

• Proven experience managing SAP ECC Payroll projects.
• Strong SuccessFactors implementation experience.
• Experience managing external implementation partners and vendors.
• Previous experience delivering large-scale technology projects within complex global organizations.
• Mining industry experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to work flexible hours and align with Brazil business hours while based in South Africa.
• Portuguese language proficiency will be advantageous.

Qualifications & Certifications

• PMP or equivalent Project Management certification (mandatory).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Project and other project scheduling tools.
• Demonstrated experience operating within a PMO environment.
• Strong understanding of project governance frameworks and controls.
• Experience working with both Agile and Waterfall delivery methodologies.
