Commercial Underwriter
Location: Durban, KwaZulu Natal
Our client, a well-established, reputable and medium sized short term Insurance brokerage in the Upper Highway KZN area, is seeking an energetic and experienced Commercial Lines Underwriter to join their expanding team.
Duties & Responsibilities
Duties will involve handling all aspects of commercial underwriting including client liaison, quoting on new business, risk assessment and management, policy administration and renewal preparations. This client has binder agreements in place.
Desired Experience & Qualification
- Matric, Regulatory EXam (RE) and NQF4 qualification in short term insurance completed
- Must have at least 3 – 5 years Commercial Lines underwriting experience from a broker’s perspective
- Must ideally live in Kloof, Pinetown, Queensburgh, Hillcrest, Waterfall, Westville or surrounding areas in KZN
- License and own car an advantage
A market related Cost to Company package is on offer that will be commensurate with experience and qualifications.
