Job Details
The purpose of this position is to manage and to provide a financial input into various functions in the business, inter alia, corporate finance, banking arrangements, reporting and business improvement.
Key performance areas:
- Manage the financial statement preparation and distribution to the Financial Director, including but not limited to, consolidated profit and loss statements, balance sheet and cash flow statements
- Monitor day to day financial operations within the group
- Complying accounting and financial regulations
- Preparation of monthly and annual management reporting
- Responsible for business divisional reporting for actuals and all budgeted and forecasted periods, providing recommendation and assumption for allocations to be used in various accounting systems.
- Assist with general ledger reconciliations reviews and provide feedback and recommendations
- Develop and build standard reports and, where necessary prepare ad hoc reports ultimately driving for consistency for all financial reporting
- Streamline and improve the monthly financial reporting cycle with an emphasis on improving systems, processed and all financial reporting to efficiently report
- Reconciliation of data for actuals and budget/forecasts and variance analysis

Minimum Requirements:
- Charted Accountant (CA (SA)) is mandatory
- Completed B-Com Degree is mandatory
- Completed Honours Degree is required
- Completed 3year articles
- Excellent computer skills –Be proficient in MS Office excel
