Lead Generator and Telemarketer
Sales conversations are your comfort zone, and a ringing phone is your favourite soundtrack. This role dives straight into outbound calling for the UK market, turning curiosity into solid leads and real sales opportunities – with your confident British or Scottish accent front and centre. Note this is a contract role initially to ensure performance success.
CORE FOCUS OF THE ROLE
This role centres on generating high-quality leads and opening doors for sales teams by engaging UK-based decision-makers over the phone. Expect a strong focus on results, clear targets, and a fast-paced environment where every call counts.
Drive outbound calling campaigns into the UK market
Qualify prospects and book appointments for the sales team
Build rapport quickly with prospects using a clear British or Scottish accent
Understand customer needs and match them to relevant products or services
Maintain accurate notes and lead information on internal systems or CRM tools
Hit and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly lead generation targets
DAY-TO-DAY RESPONSIBILITIES
Make outbound calls to UK-based businesses and/or consumers, depending on campaign
Hold confident, professional sales conversations with senior decision-makers
Ask smart questions to uncover opportunities and move prospects through the pipeline
Overcome objections with calm, professional handling and a solutions-focused mindset
Keep the database clean, updated, and well-organised after every call
Collaborate with the sales team to improve lead quality and conversion rates
REQUIREMENTS
3 – 5 years experience in selling into the UK market
A clear, natural British or Scottish accent – essential
Solid background in telemarketing, telesales, or lead generation
Confident, articulate phone manner with strong listening skills
Proven track record of working towards sales or lead generation targets
Comfortable working with call metrics such as dials per day, talk time, and conversion
Strong admin skills for updating systems and managing call outcomes
