As we expand rapidly, we’re looking for a detail-oriented and resourceful Operations Executive to keep things running smoothly across the network.
About the Role
We’re looking for a South Africa-based Operations Executive to manage the daily operations of our network remotely. You’ll work closely with our UK team and partners to respond to support tickets, manage logistics, and solve operational issues in real time. Your role is crucial in ensuring our charging stations are working optimally and that venues and users get quick, professional support.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to and resolve support queries from customers and venues via HubSpot, WhatsApp, and email
- Diagnose and escalate hardware or software issues when needed
- Coordinate with third-party logistics and warehousing partners for stock deployments and returns
- Monitor network performance and proactively resolve site issues
- Maintain and update operational processes, documentation, and records
- Use our CRM to track tickets and manage communication
- Provide weekend support on a rotating basis, as part of the 10am–midnight UK shift coverage
- Collaborate cross-functionally with the commercial, product, and tech teams to optimize service
Requirements
- Based in South Africa, with excellent written and spoken English
- Experience in operations, logistics, customer support, or a related field
- Strong written communication skills — you should be able to craft professional, friendly, and clear messages
- Comfortable using tools like HubSpot, Slack, Google Workspace, and spreadsheets
- Highly organized with a proactive, problem-solving mindset
- Able to stay calm and efficient under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Willing to work flexible hours, including weekends, within the UK time zone
Nice to Have
- Experience in a startup or scale-up environment
- Familiarity with physical product operations or hardware troubleshooting
- Knowledge of UK logistics, warehousing, or service provider coordination
