Oracle Cloud Procurement (Functional) Consultant
This role supports Oracle Cloud Procure to Pay implementations and ongoing solution delivery in a consulting environment. The work is centred on business process analysis, functional configuration, documentation, testing, training, and client-facing project support.
ABOUT THE ROLE
- Support Oracle Cloud Procure to Pay implementations and related post-go-live support.
- Gather and document business requirements through client interviews, workshops, and research.
- Work with clients to define and document workable business solutions that meet agreed requirements.
- Produce design and configuration documents for modules being implemented.
- Configure Oracle Cloud modules according to approved design requirements.
- Contribute to implementation governance by maintaining RAID logs and other project documentation for risks, actions, issues, and dependencies.
- Help define, document, and test technical enhancements across Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, and Workflows.
- Prepare training materials and work instructions for end users.
- Support joint testing of delivered solutions.
- Prepare and present status updates and presentation materials to internal stakeholders, client teams, and executive leadership.
- Attend regular project meetings and contribute to status and issue discussions.
- Work collaboratively with consultants and client team members to maintain productive project relationships.
- Provide functional input on best practices that improve operational efficiency and profitability.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Technology.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in a consulting environment or related industry role working directly with Oracle E-Business Suite or Oracle Cloud Fusion Applications.
- 5+ years of experience implementing Oracle Cloud modules such as:
- Sourcing
- Supplier Qualification Management
- Supplier Portal
- Purchasing
- Self-Service Procurement
- Procurement Contracts
- Inventory
- Strong understanding of Fusion Procure to Pay.
- Strong knowledge of the AP/P2P cycle, including invoice processing and PO/PR creation and maintenance.
- Proficiency in accounting software applications, with ERP knowledge preferred.
- Strong understanding of the costing module.
- Strong understanding of trade operations.
- Strong understanding of month-end closing activities.
- Good understanding of quarterly releases.
- Good understanding of integrations, extensions, and reporting.
- Proven experience on at least 2 full lifecycle Oracle Cloud implementations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments in a fast-paced environment.
- High computer literacy, including Office 365 tools such as Teams, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, OneNote, Visio, and SharePoint.
- Ability to engage effectively through in-person meetings, chat, email, phone, and video conferencing.
- Ability to resolve issues promptly and escalate appropriately when needed.
NICE TO HAVE
- Oracle Certification in a Procurement module.
- Experience with Oracle Cloud OTBI, BI Publisher, and other reporting tools.
