Job Details
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather, analyze, and document business requirements for financial processes.
- Configure and support Oracle Financials modules such as General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Fixed Assets (FA), Cash Management, and Subledger Accounting (SLA).
- Collaborate with technical teams to ensure system integrations, customizations, and reports are aligned with business needs.
- Participate in full lifecycle implementations, upgrades, and support projects.
- Conduct system testing, user acceptance testing (UAT), and end-user training.
- Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting.
- Assist with period-end and year-end close processes in Oracle Financials.
- Keep up with Oracle Cloud quarterly updates and advise on new features.
- Ensure financial system compliance with local accounting standards and corporate policies.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
- 7+ years of hands-on experience as an Oracle Finance Functional Consultant.
- Strong knowledge of Oracle Financials Cloud or Oracle EBS R12.
- Solid understanding of financial processes, accounting principles, and controls.
- Experience in requirement gathering, functional design, testing, and production support.
- Strong documentation and presentation skills.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Oracle Cloud Financials certifications are a plus.
Preferred:
- Experience with Multi-Currency, Multi-Org, Tax Localization, or Intercompany Accounting.
- Familiarity with South Africanfinancial compliance and statutory reporting (if applicable).
- Knowledge of integration with Oracle Procurement, Projects, or HCM modules.
