Remote | Part-Time, with Opportunity to Grow

We are looking for an experienced, highly organized, tech-savvy Online Business Manager to work directly with entrepreneur, marketing strategist, speaker and author Shannon Kinney to help turn several established brands, programs and intellectual property into scalable, growing businesses.
This isn’t a traditional administrative role, and we’re not looking for someone who simply waits for a task list.
We’re looking for a right-hand person who can take a vision, turn it into a plan, organize the resources required to execute it, and make sure it gets across the finish line.

What You’ll Help Us Build
You’ll work closely with us on the growth and relaunch of several key initiatives:
Our marketing coaching and education program for entrepreneurs and small businesses.
Our growing practice helping organizations strategically adopt and leverage AI across marketing, sales and business operations.
And also a personal-brand platform, content, courses and upcoming book focused on helping women entrepreneurs and leaders find their voice, build their authority and become more visible.
Our higher-level business growth program for established women entrepreneurs ready to translate their personal authority into a stronger, more scalable business.
Your job will be to help us turn the strategy, intellectual property and ideas that already exist into a well-run content, marketing, product and customer-delivery engine.

What You’ll Own

Program & Launch Management
You’ll help translate our strategic plans into actionable project plans, timelines and deliverables.
You’ll manage launches and ongoing promotion of courses, consulting programs, workshops and digital products; coordinate landing pages, emails, social campaigns, webinars and supporting assets; maintain launch calendars; identify bottlenecks before they become problems; and keep the team focused on the highest-priority activities.

Content Operations
We already have a significant amount of intellectual property and content. We need someone who can help us get much more leverage from it.
You’ll help manage the content calendar;  turn long-form content, presentations, webinars and videos into social content and other assets; schedule and distribute content across appropriate platforms; upload and organize course materials; manage newsletters and email campaigns; and help repurpose one great idea into multiple useful pieces of content.
You should be a strong writer and editor who is comfortable working with AI while still protecting a distinctive human voice.

Lead Generation
Coordinating with the marketing team, you’ll work on specific lead generation activities including but not limited to: offer launches, webinars, researching and securing speaking engagements and follow ups, email list building efforts.

Video & Multimedia
You should be comfortable with basic-to-intermediate video production and editing for social media, courses and marketing campaigns.
That could include editing short-form videos, adding captions and graphics, creating clips from longer videos, preparing course videos for publication, organizing a video library, and coordinating more sophisticated production with outside resources when needed.

AI & Marketing Technology
We use AI extensively and want this person to help us use it even more effectively.
You’ll work with us to customize and maintain AI tools, GPTs/agents, prompt libraries and repeatable workflows; identify opportunities to automate repetitive work; document successful AI processes so they can be repeated by other team members; and continually explore better ways to use AI across content, customer service, research, marketing and operations.
You do not need to be an AI developer. You do need to be someone who gets excited about figuring out what technology can do to help us work smarter not harder.

Team & Contractor Management
You’ll help oversee VAs, freelancers and specialized contractors on an as needed basis.

You’ll help assign work, establish deadlines, follow up, review deliverables and hold people accountable.
You’ll also help us determine when something should be done internally, delegated to an existing resource, automated, or outsourced to a specialist.

Calendar & Customer Experience
You’ll help manage program calendars, launch calendars, speaking and content commitments, appointments and important deadlines.
You’ll also oversee incoming inquiries from customers and prospects, make sure questions get answered quickly, help manage program participants and ensure people receive the high-touch experience our brands are known for.

Who We’re Looking For
You may be a great fit if you:
● Have significant experience as an Online Business Manager, Operations Manager, Chief of Staff, Digital Marketing Manager or similar role.
● Have worked directly with a founder, entrepreneur, coach, consultant, author or thought leader.
● Have experience managing digital products, courses, coaching programs or launches.
● Understand digital marketing, including social media, email marketing, landing pages, content marketing and lead generation.
● Are an excellent writer and editor.
● Have hands-on experience with content creation and social media distribution.
● Can perform basic-to-intermediate video editing.
● Are highly comfortable with Claude, ChatGPT and other AI tools and genuinely curious about emerging technology.
● Know how to recruit, screen and manage VAs, freelancers and contractors effectively.
● Are extremely organized and naturally think in systems, workflows, calendars and deadlines.

Can look at a messy collection of ideas and say, “Here’s how we’re going to get this done.”
● Are proactive enough to identify what needs to happen without waiting to be told.
● Communicate clearly and aren’t afraid to follow up, push a project forward or tell the founder when something is becoming a bottleneck.
● Care about quality, relationships and delivering an exceptional customer experience.

What Success Looks Like
Within the first several months, we should see fewer projects dependent on Shannon personally managing every detail.
Our launches should have clear plans, owners and deadlines. Our content should be consistently created, repurposed and distributed. Our growing library of intellectual property should be organized and converted into courses, content and revenue-producing assets. Contractors and VAs should know exactly what they’re responsible for. Customer inquiries should be handled quickly and professionally.
And our AI systems should increasingly make the entire operation faster and smarter.
Most importantly, great ideas should stop sitting on a list waiting for someone to execute them

The Opportunity
This is initially a part-time remote contractor position, approximately 20–25 hours per week, with the potential to expand as our programs and revenue grow.
We’re looking for someone interested in becoming an important, long-term member of the team—not someone looking to add another five-hour-per-month client to an already overloaded roster.
You will work closely with one of our entrepreneurs and have significant autonomy and responsibility.
