Purpose of Role

The Talent Sourcer is responsible solely for identifying and compiling CVs of potential candidates using various sourcing platforms. This role does not involve candidate engagement or communication. The specialist will leverage advanced sourcing tools and maintain a high standard of accuracy and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

CV Sourcing

  • Source and collect CVs based on job specifications using multiple online platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, job boards, talent databases).
  • Apply Boolean search and advanced filtering techniques to identify high-quality profiles.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of sourcing technologies and best practices.

Data Accuracy & Management

  • Ensure all sourced CVs meet the required job criteria and are accurately categorized.
  • Maintain comprehensive and organized records of all sourced candidates in the database.
  • Regularly audit and update candidate pools for relevance and quality.

Platform Proficiency

  • Utilize a range of sourcing platforms and tools efficiently (e.g., LinkedIn, ATS, niche job boards).
  • Stay current with emerging sourcing technologies and recommend new tools for improved results.

Reporting & Collaboration

  • Provide regular reports on sourcing activity, volume, and quality of CVs delivered.
  • Collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to clarify sourcing requirements and adjust search strategies as needed.

 

Targets & Performance

  • Consistently meet or exceed weekly and monthly CV sourcing targets.
  • Demonstrate high attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of sourcing.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience: 2–4 years in a dedicated sourcing or research role within recruitment, with a focus on CV identification and collection only.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in multiple sourcing platforms and advanced search methods (Boolean, X-ray, AI-driven tools).
  • Accuracy: Demonstrated ability to deliver highly accurate and relevant candidate lists.
  • Organizational Skills: Strong record-keeping and data management abilities.
  • Tech Savvy: Comfortable adopting new technologies and optimizing sourcing workflows.
  • Education: Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred, but equivalent experience is acceptable.
