Job Details

A financial planning group in the northern suburbs of Cape Town is looking for administrative support for their financial adviser/Planner.  The primary duties are to support the Financial Planner with daily administration and interact with Insurance Companies, Investment platforms and clients.  The role includes the following:

  • Processing of New Business and existing business (Investments, Risk Business, Medical Aid, Trusts, Estates)
  • Monitoring all activities relating to client reviews, requests and new business.
  • Client Liaison
  • Managing Broker’s Diary
  • Processing of Adviser/Planner and Client Requests
  • Assistance with Administration of Deceased Estates
  • Scanning and Filling electronically
  • Plan and schedule work

Requirements:

QUALIFICATIONS:

Essential Qualifications

  • Matric / Grade 12

Advantageous but not Required

  • Industry related qualification (E.g. Certificate in Financial Planning)
  • RE Exams

  • Platforms systems and software of investment Platforms and insurance companies, (e.g. Allan gray, Glacier, Ninety One, Discovery, Momentum, Sanlam)
  • Legislation Compliance awareness (FICA / FAIS / FATCA / POPIA / TCF etc.)
