Job Details

Duties and Responsibilities:
Customer Management: Ensure customer satisfaction through efficient parts availability, delivery service, and resolution of account queries, customer credits, and claims. Manage customer credit terms and maintain strong relationships, escalating issues as necessary. Personnel Management: Oversee attendance, leave, and absenteeism management, ensuring backup coverage for critical roles. Evaluate performance against job specifications and adherence to company policies, health and safety standards, and disciplinary procedures. Identify personnel vacancies and new requirements. Warehouse Management: Ensure efficient warehouse operations, including layout optimization, receiving and dispatching processes, and cycle count management.
Facility and Asset Management: Maintain the branch’s appearance, cleanliness, and compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards. Oversee maintenance of equipment and facilities, including printers, telephone systems, vehicles, and computers.
Purchasing Management: Supervise procurement processes, including supplier ordering schedules, inter-branch ordering, and backorder follow-up.
Sales Management: Manage the Sales Supervisor to ensure effective reporting of product gaps, buyouts, and support for walk-in customers. Assist the Sales Manager with the management of external sales reps.
IT Management: Ensure timely resolution of IT issues through designated service providers and escalate issues to head office as necessary.

Financial Management: Assist with follow-up on late customer payments, bad debt management, credit applications, and limit increase requests. Supervise financial procedures, including till closures, banking sheet updates, and adherence to budgeted targets.

 

Minimum Requirements:
• Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience in After Sales Spares
• Proven leadership and personnel management skills.
• Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal abilities,organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ERP systems.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to company policies and procedures.
