VitaGene, a growing business that is part of the Nurture Brands group, has an exciting opportunity available for a dynamic individual who is IT savvy and who has great interpersonal relationships.  This individual will have exceptional planning and organising skills and will oversee all the daily operations to ensure that systems are running efficiently and business objectives are achieved.

VitaGene was founded in 2017 as a way to seamlessly provide customers access to professional grade health and skincare products, in a cost-effective way.
We launched VitaScript in 2020, the first virtual dispensary for health and skincare practitioners in South Africa. This practitioner platform integrates with VitaGene so that customers can easily receive the correct products scripted by their practitioners. We also have a selection of the highest quality nutritional genetic tests available in South Africa for trained practitioners to script and interpret.

This position is office based in Tokai.

Day to day responsibilities include the following:

Handle communication channels, including phone calls, emails, and correspondence with suppliers
Coordinate meetings and schedules for CEO
Assist in opening new brand accounts by negotiating trading terms and completing all relevant paperwork
Assist with managing the office budget and expenses by ensuring cost-effective solutions are implemented
Assist with the Logistics distribution company’s communication and attend weekly meetings
Support the Supplier relations to improve relationships and maintain connections
Improve relationships with suppliers with regular sales feedback and marketing information
Suggest and implement projects for continuous improvement of the operations
Ensure that all systems are working effectively
Management support of stock coordination
Management of all staff.

 

Requirements:

Business-related degree coupled with at least 2-5 years of relevant experience in a related position.
Computer literate, with a good understanding of systems (e-commerce will be advantageous).
Exceptional interpersonal skills, communication skills and customer service skills.
Logical and pro-active thinking skills
Business acumen & commercial understanding
Adaptable, with a high preference for systems and continuous improvement
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
