SPECIFICATION
Responsible for financial administration and cash management of company.
Responsibilities
Financial Administration
- · Receipt of invoices
Verify that invoice:
– properly authorised, bank – details are correct
– addressed to the correct company
- · Accruals Identify where invoices have not been received for recurring monthly payments
– Phone supplier for the outstanding invoice if not received timeously and accrue accordingly
- · Preparation of invoices for payment Ensure accuracy and completeness of requisitions
– allocation of correct GL code
- · Capturing of requisitions
– Meeting month end dead lines
– Correct data capturing of expense to GL account
Cash management
- · Reconciliation of all debit orders and deposits on bank statements
- · Daily preparation of accounts set-off balances for cash flow purposes
- · Direct deposit list updated daily
- · Month end reconciliation of cashbook, printing and reconciling to General Ledger
- · Identify and verifiable references and allocate accordingly
- · Payment of invoices and preparing and importing of daily expenses paid on banking system
Qualifications
- MS Office and ACCPAC
- 2- 3 years experience within a finance department
- Knowledge of bookkeeping practices
- Analytical
- Planning & organising skills
- Detail orientation
