We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Catering Manager to lead operations at our Halaalâcertified catering unit. The ideal candidate is a serviceâdriven leader with strong culinary knowledge, exceptional people skills, and solid business acumen. You will be responsible for ensuring operational excellence, maintaining high service standards, and delivering an exceptional client experience. Key Responsibilities Oversee and manage all daily catering operations. Maintain and uphold high service delivery standards to meet client expectations. Ensure Halaal compliance across all food preparation, production, and service activities. Implement operational controls aligned with budget and financial requirements. Manage finances, budgets, debtors, and administrative processes. Lead, train, motivate, and develop the catering team. Handle HR matters including performance management, staffing, and disciplinary procedures. Monitor and drive compliance with Q-pro, OSHACT, GMP, and company policies. Analyze weekly and monthly financial performance, including profit & loss statements. Ensure exceptional food quality, presentation, and service in line with Tsebo Catering Solutions standards. Proactively build and maintain strong client relationships. Qualifications Matric (required) National Diploma in Hospitality Management or relevant tertiary qualification (advantageous) Minimum 3 years’ management experience in a similar catering or hospitality role Experience within Tsebo Retail (advantageous) Driver’s licence & own vehicle Halaal Requirement This position requires managing a Halaal-certified catering environment. Experience working in a Halaal kitchen or with Halaal food service standards will be a strong advantage.
