Chief Technology Officer

SPECIFICATION

The Chief Technology Officer (CTO) will be required to hire and manage a team of developers, advise on best practices, advise on the best technology to use in certain instances, be present in client meetings if and when needed, ensure that the best sufficient cyber security is in place at all times, advise management on all technological aspects of the business. And note this is a hands on role you will need to develop and code as well.

Responsibilities

• Hire an appropriately sized development team.
• Provide guidance to junior developers.
• Provide insight into best practices.
• Partake in day to day development work.
• Be present in client meetings as and when needed.
• Ensure enough cyber security measures are always in place.
• Manage a team of junior and senior developers.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate Degree or Diploma.
• Preferably 5 year of work experience.
• Proof of being in a management position.
• Experience in coding and development of C#, .NET and HTML with CSS and JavaScript
• Python will be beneficial
• Industry experience in Financial Services would be great
