As our business continues to grow, we are seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Credit Administrator to support our Credit Committee processes, transaction monitoring activities, ESG reporting requirements and regulatory documentation management. This role offers excellent exposure to the inner workings of a specialist trade finance institution and provides a strong foundation for a long-term career in credit, operations, compliance or trade finance.
The Role
The Credit Administrator plays a central role in ensuring AGTF’s credit governance, reporting and documentation processes operate efficiently and effectively. Working closely with Front Office, Credit, Compliance, Operations and Middle Office teams, you will help maintain high standards of documentation, reporting, monitoring and regulatory compliance across the transaction lifecycle.
Key Responsibilities
Credit Committee Administration & Governance
- Coordinate and administer Credit Committee meetings in conjunction with the Committee Chair.
- Receive, review, organise and distribute sighting papers, credit applications, renewal papers and incident reports.
- Prepare and distribute Credit Committee meeting packs.
- Take accurate minutes during Credit Committee meetings and circulate approved records.
- Ensure minutes are properly signed, filed and archived.
- Track and monitor follow-up actions arising from Credit Committee decisions.
Facility Administration & Transaction Monitoring
- Support the maintenance of facility records, utilisation levels, limits and expiry dates.
- Assist in monitoring facility drawdowns and repayments against approved terms.
- Track outstanding conditions precedent and conditions subsequent and coordinate follow-up actions with relevant teams.
- Maintain accurate and complete credit files and documentation registers.
- Support periodic client reviews and ongoing portfolio monitoring activities.
Risk, ESG & Portfolio Reporting
- Assist with risk reporting across clients, commodities and jurisdictions.
- Support the preparation and maintenance of ESG assessments and client ESG scoring.
- Help maintain and update ESG questionnaires and supporting frameworks.
- Prepare regular portfolio monitoring reports, including utilisation, upcoming reviews and expiring facilities.
- Support watchlist, arrears and exception reporting.
- Assist with data collection, analysis and reporting for Board, management and regulatory requirements.
KYC, AML & Regulatory Support
- Verify that KYC and supporting documentation requirements have been completed before transactions are submitted for approval.
- Assist with onboarding and ongoing client due diligence processes.
- Support AML, sanctions, anti-bribery and other regulatory compliance requirements in collaboration with the Compliance team.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in line with internal policies and regulatory expectations.
Cross-Functional Coordination
- Act as a key liaison between Origination, Credit, Compliance, Operations and Middle Office teams.
- Support efficient communication and information flow throughout the transaction lifecycle.
- Assist with administrative and operational tasks that support AGTF’s broader credit administration function.
Travel Coordination & Administration
- Serve as the central coordination point for business travel arrangements across the Group.
- Coordinate flights, accommodation, ground transport, visas and other travel requirements.
- Work closely with Finance to ensure travel approvals, budgets and supporting documentation are properly managed.
- Maintain complete and accurate travel records, itineraries and approval documentation.
- Monitor travel schedules and assist with amendments, cancellations and travel-related issues when required.
- Support cost-effective travel planning while ensuring business, operational and safety requirements are met.
Additional Responsibilities
- Undertake other duties and projects as required to support AGTF’s operations and growth.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications
Essential
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Accounting or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience in trade finance, banking operations, credit administration, financial services or a related environment.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders.
Advantageous
- Experience within trade finance, commodity finance or banking operations.
- Exposure to credit administration, facility management or portfolio monitoring.
- Familiarity with AML, KYC, sanctions or regulatory compliance processes.
- Experience using credit, compliance or AML systems.
- Understanding of ESG principles and reporting requirements.
