Debtors Clerk

SPECIFICATION

This role will be responsible for maintaining records of financial transactions/payments between the client and the Company.

Responsibilities

• Processing, capturing, and reconciling of debtor’s documents.
• Capturing and reconciliation of debtor’s payments.
• Reconciliation of debtor’s accounts.
• Monthly Debtors age analysis.
• Follow up on payments receivable.
• Liaising with debtors on account queries
• Other adhoc task that are required from time to time.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5-years FMCG working experience with a minimum 2-years experience in a debtors role. 
• Minimum grade 12. A Tertiary qualification in finance will be an advantage
• Working experience in the debtors and credit control department
• Working knowledge of Accounting system
• Intermediate knowledge of excel
• Efficient
• Resourceful
• Takes pride in their work
• Able to handle pressure and deadlines.
• A solid understanding of debtor’s role within the FMCG industry with proven track record in the FMCG environment.
