A Footwear Manufacturer is looking for an E-Commerce Specialist to ensure the customer journey is optimised for relevance and conversion, the website is merchandised to support the marketing plan and trade, customer behaviour data is analysed and utilised, and that the team is well managed, focused, and motivated. 

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES, NOT LIMITED TO: 

Website management 

  • Ownership of all onsite web content, assets to be in alignment with Brand guidelines and marketing calendar timelines with digital first approach 
  • Review merchandising of product onsite including categorisation, imagery, pricing, and copy, meeting Global best practices 
  • Responsible for regular monitoring of search performance and redirects, making proactive enhancements to increase conversion 
  • Share knowledge from Global on platform enhancements and optimisation initiatives with APAC teams, collaborate with global analytics teams on test and learn ideas 
  • Work closely with our SEO agency and marketing manager to assist in carrying out changes and updates onsite 
  • Assess and streamline local eCommerce processes for greater efficiency in coordinator tasks 
  • Partner with web IT and Development teams in the local and global business 
  • Reinforce relationship with customer service agency 
  • Investigate and report bugs and technical issues through global ticketing system. 

Marketing & content management 

  • Work closely with digital and brand marketing teams to develop an onsite content plan to support end to end customer journey 
  • Design and build first class launch and landing pages in support of Global and local marketing events to timelines 
  • Create and execute promotional strategy using key visual marketing assets for onsite banners, align with pop ups and test pricing and user experience prior to go live 
  • Be responsible for end-to-end onsite campaigns and their performance 
  • Participate in regular WIP meetings with eCommerce and Marketing Teams 
  • Share customer product trend insights with digital marketing team, to assist with marketing campaigns 

Inventory & Product Management 

  • Manage team to ensure product onsite is representative of Global standards and to time guidelines 
  • Work closely with Merchandise Planning team to assort the range and products for the site in all categories 
  • Be responsible for the execution and performance of key product releases 
  • Identify products that drive sales and own strategy to leverage onsite 
  • Build a weekly and monthly report with metrics and sales results for the E-commerce business highlighting performance and opportunity 
  • Understanding Google Analytics and reporting on the results and make recommendations for improvements 

Data Analysis & Reporting 

  • Drive and maintain performance with product recommendations, predictive sort, and search terms to increase basket and conversion 
  • Devise and execute onsite customer journey pop up campaigns to support business lead gen targets and on page conversion metrics 
  • Manage and interpret customer behaviour data using Google Analytics and heatmaps to pinpoint on page journey bottlenecks and resolve content and merchandise barriers 
  • Build a weekly and monthly report with insights and present in trade meetings 
  • When required attend and present at domestic sales conferences and assist in gathering data for global reporting
  • Develop company and competitor brand analysis and product knowledge against other websites 

Team management  

  • Mentor, support and motivate SAF coordinator for success 
  • Deliver functional role clarity and measure performance to KPIs 
  • Drive a high-performance team through structure, culture, and regular feedback
  • Manage the appraisal process 

KPIs 

  • Optimal UX & game plan execution 
  • Responsible for site metrics including but not limited to conversion rate, PDP page view, Add to cart rate 
  • Complete weekly, monthly and promotion forecast and reports within timelines 
  • Deliver optimal site experience and campaign execution from global game plan 
  • Product uploaded and availability 
  • Categorization and Merchandising product on-site 
  • Create and maintain promo codes 
  • Implement SEO data improvements to increase organic performance 
  • Raise and manage the resolution of bugs and site issues 
  • Team Management 
  • Support the Customer Care team on time 

REQUIREMENTS 

  • 3 – 5 years’ experience in eCommerce  
  • Understanding of key online sales metrics to drive conversion
  • Excellent interpersonal skills 
  • Well-developed Excel, Word & Power Point knowledge 
  • Ability to lead and work effectively with senior stakeholders 
  • Takes ownership of role and responsibility of self-management
  • Has strong customer focus and ability to deliver an excellent customer experience 
  • Can make decisions and is accountable as required 
  • High level organizational, administrative skills & time management 
  • Possess good communication & presentation skills at all levels 
  • Proficient when working under pressure situation and timelines
  • Assertive and ability to raise issues to a global level
