Purpose of the job: The successful candidate would be responsible for assisting the Fiduciary Manager in the Fiduciary Department.
Candidate will assist the Fiduciary Manager and the Managing Director’s Executive Assistant with a range of administrative tasks that arise in the normal course of business.
Key duties or responsibilities:
- Duties include, but not limited to:
o filing and storing data in the cloud
o drafting letters
o providing FICA when requested from various institutions
o attending the administration of opening bank accounts for clients
o requesting information from various institutions
o Following up on requests to clients
o Preparation of meeting packs
o Receiving phone calls from clients
o Managing the diaries.
Minimum requirements:
- Matric essential and further tertiary education of relevance is preferred but not a deal breaker
- Flexible, willing, and able to work outside of office hours at times. (No clock watchers welcome).
- Reliable cellphone.
- Career driven – there is an opportunity for growth for someone who is hungry for knowledge.
- Can handle delegation.
- Works well under pressure – at times there is a lot to juggle.
- Fast learner and willingness to learn.
- Familiarity and reasonable knowledge of the fiduciary industry is preferable.
- Must have own reliable transport and valid license.
- 100% office job (working from home will only be considered in an emergency).
