CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Extract, clean, and analyse financial and operational data to uncover trends, patterns, and anomalies that support budgeting and forecasting.
  • Build and maintain financial models for budgeting, forecasting, and scenario planning.
  • Support performance reviews by analysing business results and highlighting opportunities for commercial improvement.
  • Create clear, visually compelling reports and dashboards using Databricks or Excel.
  • Work closely with Finance, Product, and other cross-functional teams to align data, improve planning, and support business decisions.

WHAT YOU BRING

  • A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Science, or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of experience in FP&A or a related Financial Analyst role within a financial services provider.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including financial functions, VBA, and pivot tables.
  • Experience with Databricks or similar data visualisation tools.
  • Working knowledge of SQL for querying databases.
  • Exposure to AI tools for business problem-solving and continuous improvement will be a strong advantage.
  • Banking industry experience will be advantageous.
  • Strong English and Afrikaans communication skills.
