IT LECTURER- CPT

We’re seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Lecturer to design, develop, and deliver high-quality learning materials across our BSc IT programme. You’ll inspire meaningful discussions, contribute to curriculum development, and play a vital role in shaping student success.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and deliver engaging lectures, tutorials, workshops, and seminars
• Develop innovative course materials suitable for multiple learning platforms
• Assess student work and provide constructive feedback
• Conduct research and contribute to published work in your field
• Supervise student projects and provide pastoral care
• Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching methods and expand knowledge
• Participate in institutional marketing, recruitment, and outreach activities

Minimum Qualifications

• Essential: Honours degree (NQF 8) in a related field with specialist knowledge
• Advantageous: Master’s degree (NQF 9) or near completion
• Previous teaching experience (contact, blended, and distance learning)
• Professional registration with relevant Board (where applicable)
• Published work (advantageous)
