Junior Accountant

An owner-managed auditing, accounting and taxation firm is looking for a junior accountant to join their team.  

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES, NOT LIMITED TO:

• Full accounting responsibilities  
• Full bookkeeping responsibilities  
• VAT, UIF, PAYE returns  
• Income Tax calculations & returns 
• Liaison with SARS
• Assist with preparation of Annual Financial Statements from Trial Balance 
• Other general office responsibilities 

REQUIREMENTS  

• B Acc/B.Com/B.Compt/National Diploma. or presently studying towards this 
• Some bookkeeping experience required or some finance clerical experience
• Fluent in Afrikaans & English  (pref)
• Good time management skills 
• Good communication skills  
• Independent result driven thinkers 
• Results orientated 
• Attention to detail 
• The will to constantly grow and develop to be the best 
• Own transport highly preferable as will be visiting clients
• Non-smoker
