Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Operations Manager to lead and optimize daily operations within our dynamic transport and logistics hub. This role requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to drive efficiency across people, processes, and technology.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate daily hub operations, including logistics, security, cleaning, and maintenance.
• Optimize driver shift schedules, charging infrastructure, vehicle charging schedules, and rider demand alignment.
• Manage the full driver lifecycle: onboarding, vetting, quality control, and weekly payment processing.
• Foster strong collaboration between internal teams, including Operations Specialists, vetting, vehicle maintenance, and charging divisions.
• Leverage operations technology and fleet management systems to reduce vehicle downtime and minimize human error.
• Develop, propose, and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency and service delivery.
• Maintain rigorous control over resource allocation and budgeting within the hub.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• Degree in Operations Management or related field required; a background in Optimisation is highly advantageous.
• Minimum of 10 to 15 years’ experience in operations management, preferably within logistics, transport, or fleet environments.
• Proven track record of leadership, problem-solving, and effective decision-making.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel
