CORE FOCUS

This role centres on new business development and outbound sales. Success comes from hustle: picking up the phone, walking through doors, and sparking conversations with CFOs, Financial Managers, IT Managers, and business owners about Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central and related solutions.

You’ll be the first point of contact, opening doors and lining up quality opportunities for the senior consulting and sales team to close.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES New Business Development

  • Actively prospect and identify new business opportunities
  • Drive outbound outreach through cold calling, walk-ins, and networking
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline across targeted industries and regions
  • Secure meetings with key decision-makers in finance, IT, and operations
  • Lead Generation & Qualification
  • Generate consistent, high-quality leads that match agreed target profiles
  • Run initial discovery conversations to unpack business challenges and pain points
  • Understand current systems, processes, and readiness for ERP transformation
  • Capture and manage all leads and activities in CRM (e.g. Dynamics 365)
  • Positioning & Value Proposition
  • Position a modern, cloud-based ERP solution as the next logical step for prospects
  • Clearly explain the benefits of moving to Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central
  • Spark interest and urgency for follow-up sessions with senior sales/consulting teams
  • Pipeline & Activity Management
  • Maintain disciplined daily activity levels across calls, visits, and meetings booked
  • Track performance against agreed weekly and monthly targets
  • Share feedback on objections, competitor activity, and market response

KPIs

  • Outbound activities per week (calls, visits, outreach)
  • New leads generated and logged
  • Qualified opportunities created
  • Meetings secured with key decision-makers
  • Contribution to overall sales pipeline growth

IDEAL PROFILE

Experience & Background

  • Experience in a high-volume outbound sales environment (telecoms, insurance, field sales, direct sales, etc.)
  • Exposure to software or technology sales is a plus, but not essential
  • Solid track record of pushing through rejection and keeping momentum
